Physicist and an engineer Todd Kulken has developed an idea of artificial arm controlled by nervous system that would not only have control on the motions of hand but would also be able to sense the objects like a real hand.
We must have usually seen artificial robotic arms being fitted to people who have arms amputee below the elbow that work pretty well, but what about those who have totally lost their arm from the shoulder. Todd kulken shows a ray of hope for such patients, they can be fitted up with an artificial limb that is being connected with shoulder muscles.
You can have a look into the video for the entire explanation.on the bionic achievement.
The idea can turn into a boon for those who have lost all their hope after the loss of a limb.
